Mission:  Devils Baseball Club is a travel baseball program providing high quality instruction, training, and game competition to players (9U-17U) interested in developing the skills necessary to play competitive high school baseball.  The program will focus on placing players in age and skill appropriate competition to maximize their individual development while working within a team environment. The program’s goal will be to keep local players together to train and become successful baseball players, while maintaining obligations to the community.

Why this merger makes sense:

Quote from Jason Ziemer – Varsity Baseball Coach, HC

“To the parents of the Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills Communities, I could not be more excited to be part of the announced merger between the Hinsdale Red Dogs and the Clarendon Hills Cardinals.  This merger is a significant development as it promotes and ensures the continued success of the Hinsdale Central Baseball program.  As the Head Coach of our varsity baseball team at Hinsdale Central, I want to emphasize how important it is to keep young players playing together before they reach their Freshman year.  Over the years we have seen case studies, including last year’s HC sophomore team who won conference, that show players that play, develop, and stay together form a team continuity that can’t be taught. Travel baseball is an important component to our vision.    Moving forward my entire staff looks forward to getting involved with the Devils Baseball Club and making it our preferred destination for travel baseball players in the District 86 area.  My staff and I look forward to meeting all of you at the upcoming parent meeting.”
